The next GAG speaker meeting is a debate on 'The Future Regulation of Lobbying' between two leading industry figures - Mark Adams, who is leading the way on establishing the new UK Public Affairs Council, and Peter Bingle, whose company Bell Pottinger Public Affairs refuses to join the APPC. See the Events section for more details.
The GAG AGM takes place on Tuesday 23 March, and we're delighted to announce that the guest speaker is the influential political blogger Paul Staines, better known as Guido Fawkes. If you'd like to stand for a position on the Committee, please contact Laura Webb for details of the procedure.
The Government has responded to the PASC report on lobbying, paving the way for a register of lobbyists and a UK Public Affairs Council, which GAG will play a full part in. See the News section of the web site for more information.
The GAG / Total Politics list of the UK's Top 100 lobbyists has been published. It's on the TP web site here: http://www.totalpolitics.com/magazine_detail.php?id=642.
